Main theme: Copernicus for smart cities development and management in the context of climate change
The application is open to entrepreneurs, university students, researchers and professionals in the fields of computer programming, graphic and interface design, marketing, data science, GIS and EO, project management, urban planning, environmental engineering, environmental protection, finances, and other hackathon theme related fields.
The applicants can assign either individually or with a team. It is required that at least one member of a team has knowledge in the followign fields: satellite data processing and analysis, digital image processing, web solutions and programming.
To be better prepared for the hackathon, organizers suggest to apply with a team. Thus, a team can relay on the competencies brought in by each team member and, therefore, plan work dynamics in advance and perform more effectively during the hackathon. Participants who will apply individually will be divided into multi-disciplinary teams at the day of the event.
